Chicken&Carrots Curry

I will never stop eating curry 🙂

This time I didn’t have potatoes, so….carrots & chicken it was. So, I figured not everybody can buy the Golden curry cubes, so I’ve done a bit of research and runnyrunny999 had an episode on how to make the curry roux.

Ingredients: 4 Golden curry cubes, 2 1/2-3 cups water, 1/3-1/2 cups milk, chicken thighs cut into bite size pieces, carrots, 4 whole garlic cloves, 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tbsp ketchup, 1tsp fish sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.

First saute the carrots with a tiny bit of oil for a couple of minutes in medium heat, then add the chicken and garlic. Cook until the chicken is done. Add the soy sauce, worcestershire sauce and ketchup and mix for a minute.


Add the water and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, add the golden curry cubes. Stir until all the cubes are dissolved then lower the temperature to medium low and let it simmer for 5-15 minutes.


Add the milk and check the consistency you want. Add more or less if you want it thick or thin. Add the hottest hot sauce you can find… my case, that will be the “Sudden death sauce”. The sauce was a gift from one of Erik’s friends and it is hot as hell.


Be sure to not dab a lot or else you’ll regret it later on…
